Although Tegucigalpa’s reputation is still not the best, the city has a lot to offer in terms of attractions, restaurants and bars. Tegucigalpa, just as the rest of the country, is still recovering from the bad hurricane, and from its high criminality rates, but do give the city a chance and visit for a bit. Located on Boulevard Morazon, Bamboo Club is in one of the busiest nightlife areas. Bamboo Club is one of the most famous dance venues in the city, but also priced higher than average. The club usually plays reggaeton and dance music and often hosts theme parties or special events. From Monday to Friday you can find several special promotions, such as Ladies Night. Although the prices are higher than average in the city, Nau Lounge is very popular. This place hosts live music on the weekends, and they have both an outdoor and indoor area. Don’t accept drinks or food from people you don’t know, and only take what you really need with you, leaving credit cards, expensive jewelry and unnecessary cash at home or in your hotel.
